Welcome to Cafe Salud

In the centre of Groningen, on the Carolieweg, you'll find Cafe Salud: the most convivial talking café in Groningen. Small but wonderful, and above all a place to meet over a good drink.

Everyone joins in here, from regular locals and older Groningers to young international students. A meeting place where generations and cultures come together, and a good conversation always begins.

Our monumental building with two toasting figures on the facade inspired the name 'Salud'. A warm, intimate atmosphere with room for 49 guests, background music that never drowns out the conversation, and staff with a passion for what they do.

The only café in Northern Netherlands with Alfa on tap.

Alfa Brewery is the only brewery in the Netherlands with its own water source, the most natural beer in the Netherlands.
